Show by your Life Concert, 11/17

The concert will feature many songs from Lori’s newest collection: Show By Your Life.  All ticket and CD sales will benefit the Sisters of St. Joseph Ministries Foundation.

ICOM Vigil, 11/12

The Justice Commission of the Sisters of St Joseph and the Lumen Christi Parish will have a special prayer and demonstration at the Whipple Federal Building  at Fort Snelling in protest against the deportation of immigrants. We meet at the peace pole at 1890 Randolph ( the East end of the driveway) at 7 a.m. to carpool to the site where, starting at 7:30, we peacefully demonstrate in solidarity with the immigrants.(The Bishop Henry Whipple Federal Building at Fort Snelling houses the Minneapolis-area offices of Immigration and Customs Enforcement and the Department of Homeland Security.)

Looking for a place to worship at a Catholic Mass with great Music? You are invited to come to the 10:30 Sunday Liturgy at Our Lady of Victory Chapel at St Kate’s.We have a number of different priests during this interim time  as we search for a new Chaplain. Looking forward: The Christmas Eve Mass which will be celebrated by  Father Michael Joncas.

Second Sunday, 11/10

Second Sunday is a year-round community circle that gathers on the  second Sunday of each month.We reflect on the Sunday gospel and nourish one another’s lives with this sharing. We share bread and wine and lift up the prayers of all gathered and concerns for the world. Following, we drink coffee and enjoy treats. All are welcome and invited to come when you can. The group is a new blessing each month.

11th Day Prayer for Peace, 10/11

Since 2001, on the 11th of every month, we come together to pray for the unmet needs of our time. October Peace Prayer is on the restorative justice lead by the Criminal Justice Working Group of the CSJ Justice Commission.
