The Criminal Justice Working Group of the CSJ Justice Commission is co-sponsoring “Life and Death: Criminal Justice, Capital Punishment and the Work of Sister Helen Prejean (known for her book and the film: Dead Man Walking).

This event is free and on Thursday, February 27, 7-9 p.m. in St. Catherine University Ballroom in Coeur de Catherine (with live streaming of the event to Carondelet Village in the auditorium).

In preparation for this event the film, Dead Man Walking, will be shown in the auditorium at Carondelet Village on February 9 at 1:30 p.m.
The planning committee for the Sr. Helen Prejean, CSJ lecture is hosting a reading group session on her book, River of Fire: My Spiritual Journey.

Please mark your calendars for Thursday, February 6, 11:45 am -1:15 pm, at St Kate’s Library 128. A limited number of books are still available in The Center for Spirituality and Social Justice for $17.00. Please plan to pay with check.
