1) Immigration Working Group encourages prayers at this time for the U.S. Supreme Court as they decide the future of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) Program. Also remember to pray for all immigrants and refugees this Immigrant Sunday, January 5.

2) Dismantling Racism Working Group invites you to consider going to a special Rev. Martin Luther King Day film screening of the film “I am Not your Negro” with discussion following on Monday, January 20 at 7:00 p.m. at Penumbra Theatre.

3) The Criminal Justice Working Group is sponsoring “Life and Death: Criminal Justice, Capital Punishment and the Work of
Sister Helen Prejean (known for her book and the film: Dead Man Walking). This event is on Thursday, February 27 in St. Catherine University Ballroom (with live streaming of the event to Carondelet Village auditorum). More information coming next month.
