Saturday Siftings on February 9, from 9-11 a.m. at Carondelet Center West end of 1890 Randolph.

This Saturday Siftings will be devoted to our CSJ Community practice of Sharing of the Heart. It will answer questions about why the early Sisters shared the heart around the kitchen fireplace. Those who already have a Sharing of the Heart group can speak of their own experiences. Others can speak on whether they have an interest in such a group at this time.

11th Day Prayer for Peace, 2/11

Since 2001, on the 11th of every month, we come together to pray for the unmet needs of our time.
The February 11th Peace Prayer theme is: Beloved Bodies and Systemic Racism. In conjunction with Black History Month, our evening reflection will be by Kate O’Connell, CSJ Consociate. All are welcome!

Breaking the Impasse, 2/28

Sr. Simone Campbell, Executive Director of NETWORK: A National Catholic Social Justice Lobby, is making her tenth visit to St. Paul for the annual Breaking the Impasse lecture. Sr. Simone will speak to national issues alongside local experts for an evening of policy, leadership, poetry, and conversation. We are an inter-generational group that plants our Community gardens. The produce is shared with food shelves and Sarah’s…an Oasis for Women as well as ourselves.

  • February 5 from 5-7 p.m.: Garden Planning and Soup Dinner
  • April 2 from 5-7 p.m.: Seed Planting
  • April 27 from 9 a.m. to noon: CSJ Earth Day
  • April 30 from 5-7 p.m.: Transplant Seedlings
  • Late May to October from 5-7 p.m.: Community Gardening

An information session about membership and association with the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet and Consociates Community!

Information Session: Friday, February 22, 5:30 pm Hospitality, 6:00 – 8:30 pm Meal and program.  

Come learn and pray with this community steeped in spirituality and justice.  Always looking to welcome others, we will explore a wide-range of opportunities for deeper connection and growth.

Retreat: Saturday, February 23, 8:30 gather; 9:00 – 3 pm.
