In this session, two presenters with extensive experience in planning liturgy and ritual and in helping families at the time of loss, will share ideas about meaningful rituals at the time of death and after.
There will be time for questions and discussion facilitated by Barb Palmer, Consociate.

Nine Gates Art exhibit

Come celebrate an art exhibit gift to Wisdom Ways!

The Nine Gates Scrolls, created by brush artist Bob Schmitt, now has a home at
Wisdom Ways. A complete set has been donated by Sue Cochrane, former family court judge.

The scrolls depicting nine thresholds of the artist experiences of longing, abandonment, rage, emptiness, compassion, unbridled joy, oneness and delusion. In this blend of ancient materials and forms, Bob transforms the aesthetic of the traditional Chinese scrolls into digital internal landscapes.

The scrolls are on exhibit the entire month of January on the ground floor of Carondelet Center.

Join us for an evening reception Tuesday, January 19th, 2016, 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. Meet the artist and the donor. A brief presentation will be at 7 p.m.
